I AM ME!


I am me and no one else. I have my heroes. I love the art work of Amy Brown, Boris Vallejo, Josephine Wall, and many others. However, though I strive to be like them and sell my art work. I have no desire to be JUST like them, because I am ME. If I drew just like them then who would i be?? A counterfeit of them... I am an individual with my own styles and ideas.

I want people to love my drawings the way I draw. I love detail and vivid colors and all that kind of stuff. But as far as I go, my style will always be from me I am simple and to the point. My drawings reflect how I feel and what I am thinking at the time. They are a reflection of me as other peoples drawings are a reflection of them. So when you look at my drawings embrace me and not others.

What is going on today:

Well I have signed my last picture as Sandra Haley! I Will now be signing them as Alexandra Haley! I will be changing over my signature and the size of the pictures on my site. Also To let you know in 3 months I will be moving to DC. So my art work will slow down untill I get into my new place and have it all looking like normal again. I have 3 commisions I will be finishing up before I go. The new portfolio is up and running! Go check it out at [link] I will be adding a commision section to it when I am done with the one i am working on now.

I started some classes this summer at a little gallery in my neck of the woods called "Arts Alive" in Enumclaw. They started the 4thand 6th of August and they are ending the 22nd and 24th of September.

Commissions:

To submit a Commission just send me a note with the following:

A detailed description, if possible with reference pictures, of your character and any relevant information about your commission. (for example; mood, atmosphere, pose, etc)
I also do avatars for games:
Just specify the size (in px) and include a link to a picture (from image shack or any other image hosting site) of your char, and the armor set you want them to wear. Be sure to get a couple angles of your char!

NOTE: If you look at my Gallery you will notice I have mostly female drawings. I will try to attempt Males but I am better at the Female anatomy then the Male anatomy. Just keep that in mind when you ask for a picture : ) Also when you submit your commissions I will be going from the first to last one submitted so be patient and I will get to you.
I will send pictures at sketch stages to make sure the picture is right. You have then to make changes. I will also send a picture with base colors (will look different when it is shaded) so you will get an idea of how the process is going. It will be water marked until the last stages. You will be getting your commission in your email.

PAYMENT:
I use pay pal. If you are happy with the color preview please send payment at that time. When I receive payment I will send you the finished picture via email. If you would like a printed version add 5$ to the price. I can also take cash or check, however, If you send a check you will have to wait for it to clear the bank before i send you your picture.

PRICES:
Line Drawing: $50
Fully colored: $100
Extra Character: an additional $10-$20
